On a perfect evening in late June, Rolls-Royce Orange County teamed with NOBLEMAN to bring the “Rolls-Royce Spectre Reveal”, to the world-famous Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. Under clear blue skies and the summer’s best sunset, Rolls-Royce unveils its most cutting-edge creation to date, The all-electric Spectre. The party was just as big and bold as the creation it was celebrating, from the wagyu donated by First Light Farms to the wines from Plinth wineries, it set up for a night to remember.
The food and drinks matched the heart and elegance of the Rolls Royce Spectre. The Wagyu from First Light Farms paired lovely with the Plinth Cabernet Sauvignon’s powerful structure and graceful beauty. Both reflect similar aspects of the new all-electric vehicle. While the Plinth Sauvignon Blanc shows the sweeter, joyous side of the Spectre. Picturing yourself driving through the hills, smelling the flowers as you cruise the countryside.
The atmosphere was energized with anticipation and excitement. Guests were chillin by the incredible ice sculpture shaped into the Rolls Royce logo, partaking in caviar paired with Golden Eagle Vodka or waiting in line for a taste of Otaca tequila or a chilled Peroni. Then, abruptly a marching band would appear and lead the group from the outside courtyard into the main ballroom. You heard the audible awe when the crowd walked in.
The Spectre is in a league of its own, being the first all-electric vehicle Rolls-Royce has in their collection. Its smooth dual-motor electric powertrain lives up to the traditional Rolls-Royce virtues of quiet and peaceful, with a meticulously engineered electronic chassis. With 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, the Rolls-Royce Spectre has enough power to get to 60 mph in a claimed 4.4 seconds. The Spectre is breaking the mold of what you think is possible for luxury electric vehicles, keeping in line with what we have come to expect from Rolls-Royce.
As the sun sank behind the historic hills of the Pelican Hills resort, the night was more than expected. With guests that spanned from NOBLEMAN to Plinth’s Vintner making an appearance, the Rolls-Royce Spectre reveal was truly a spectacle to behold. Thank you to all who helped make this night memorable.
