Pierce Brosnan is the kind of guy you can’t help but notice when he walks in the room. A quiet presence commands attention and respect, and everyone couldn’t help but pause upon his arrival. With an easy smile, the spell was broken as Pierce personally shook hands with everyone on set. A beautifully sunny day in Los Angeles, our shoot was off to a magical start.
We were at The Azria Estate, an extraordinary $85,000,000 property with an array of impressive locations, a truly incredible place to spend the day. This beautiful estate is an unmatched combination of thoughtful design, artful glamour, and true individuality, and was the perfect backdrop for the shoot.
What are the markings of a Nobleman? What makes a Nobleman? Well, I guess it’s in how you define one.
“I think a Nobleman always starts with heart,” says Pierce Brosnan, the subject of our feature and fall cover star. “The heart of the man, who he is. A Nobleman meets a Noblewoman.”
“A Noblema’am?” I joke. Pierce laughs and I get myself a smile and nod of approval from him, which is PERFECT for my personal need for positive reinforcement. My therapist agrees.
“Hopefully, they’ll have Noble children and live a Noble life. I think showing up on time and being present and enjoying people’s kindness, hard work, and being able to deal with adversity; being able to deal with the turbulence of life gives you some nobility.”
C’mon, could Pierce Brosnan be any more perfect? With this earnest answer, that salt and pepper hair, his quick wit and sly smile, even the interns couldn’t help but be captivated by this devilishly handsome man. But there’s so much more to Pierce than meets the eye. And to get there, we have to back up just a bit. This is no ordinary man. This is a person made of passion and perseverance who has experienced the happiest of times along with the deepest of tragedies, and still, ultimately, inspires earnest hope in everyone around him…
