Laguna Beach’s newest hotspot, Oak, provides a breath of fresh air in an already bustling food scene. A modern but cozy atmosphere, coupled with a great location and top shelf food/libations, provides a perfect setting for Chef Chris Tzorin to share his passionate recipes. He leaves it all on the table, quite literally, from the South-of-the-Border Ceviche infused with Baja seasoning (both refined and unmistakably traditional), to the rich and savory Short Rib Taco served in his mother’s Mole sauce. The passion, history, and heart behind each menu item is truly apparent in this establishment. A second-generation chef trained first by his father and then at the Art Institute of California, Chef Tzorin puts his eclectic background on display through his menu.
