Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless
If you travel a lot, like we do, having some personal space is important for your mental state. One way to enhance this is to have a great set of noise-cancelling headphones. Now, there are a couple brands out there that do this, but Sennheiser is the best we’ve tested. The noise-cancelling technology is incredibly adept at eliminating external voice, road noise, and engine rumbling in a plane cabin. Where these really shine is the audio quality. It’s so crisp at every level of the EQ, we heard so much more detail out of familiar songs we didn’t realize we were missing. George Clinton never sounded so funky.

Saint Rita Parlor – Clarke-Roberts Sunglasses
Eyewear is always personal. It can make or break a look. Sometimes both are a good thing. The Clarke-Roberts sunglasses give you a little peak of wire with a healthy dose of acetate frame as well. These avant-garde, yet completely approachable sunglasses transport the wearer to a Parisian cafe. The understated, yet boundary challenging design are sure to add a flair of unique zest to any outfit. We love the tortoise brown.

Stelle Audio – Smart Pillar
Most Bluetooth speakers look the same. A monochrome lump sitting on the corner of a desk. Stelle has a great design and a fantastic sound quality to match. A tall cylinder with a faux-wood veneer hides a powerful set of speakers easily able to fill a room. It’s a welcome addition to any sophisticated desk. Added bonus, you can use it as a speaker-phone system connecting Bluetooth with your phone.

Polaris Slingshot SLR LE
We all love toys, particularly the fast variety. Polaris brought the new Slingshot to the LA Auto Show and we knew we had to get in one immediately. These are designed for curving roads at a decent speed. The low center of gravity and center-mounted rear wheel give a drive experience unlike anything else. While these power little machines are technically classified as motorcycles, in most states, you only need a valid drivers license to drive one. $30,999 – polaris.com
Apple HomePod
The smart speaker movement continues to build momentum with higher quality sound, beautiful design, and connected features that make work and life a little more smooth. Apple joins the foray with their much-anticipated HomePod. What is clear is this is a piece of audio equipment above anything else. The sound output is balanced and clear. It stands heads and shoulders above almost anything else in the category. While it lacks a few key features in the software, we are confident the near-future updates will address everything.
