A new Emporio Armani Caffè & Ristorante concept opens in Milan
Giorgio Armani was among the first to pioneer the all-around concept of a brand lifestyle with the opening of his first caffès in the 80s’ to offer clients a captivating experience beyond shopping. From breakfast and lunch to aperitifs and dinner, Mr. Armani certainly succeeded and today continues to impress with not only his sophisticated level of design but a refined palate as well.
At the Emporio Armani Caffè & Ristorante in Milan, the address is the same, but the space is completely different. Originally opened in 2000, the caffè was the first of its kind and became an instant internationally iconic benchmark for Milanese style. And now, with its re-imagination, it’s set to achieve notoriety all over again. The updated vision bears testimony once again to the bond between Giorgio Armani and Milan, a relationship made up of taste and refinement.
Expanded and completely re-conceived, it has been redesigned to accentuate the variety of its offerings. Conceptualized by Giorgio Armani, along with his internal team of architects, Emporio Armani Caffè & Ristorante fits perfectly within the historical building that houses it. The aesthetic balance of the exterior remains unchanged, with the addition of a second outdoor dining area. The new interior architecture has been inspired by style elements of the 1930s, the period to which the building dates back, but still manages to maintain a completely contemporary design. The décor elements and layout together create a warm and refined atmosphere. The highly versatile space, designed for entertainment at any time of day, from breakfast to Sunday brunch, to after-dinner hours (with the opportunity to host high-spirited DJ events).
Stop by at any time of the day, in the morning for fresh pastries, lunch, or a unique aperitif hour that features classic and exclusive cocktails, as well as a selection of specially-created small dishes. At night, the warm and spellbinding atmosphere provides the perfect environment for after-work get-togethers and conversations.
