Being Certified Organic in the US (USDA) and EU (Bioagricert), means every aspect of Aldez’s production adheres to strict guidelines for quality. Unlike many other tequila brands, Aldez is proud their fields do not use any chemicals or pesticides and their traditional method of production never adds glycerin, coloring, or artificial flavoring to manipulate the tequila. There are three main tequila varieties in their portfolio, and all are organic: Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. The Blanco rests in stainless steel tanks for 10 months before bottling and is clear in color, with a nose of cooked agave, black pepper, and lemon peel to deliver a subtle citrus palate. The Reposado is aged for 8 months for a subtle amber color, with a flavor of vanilla, salted caramel, and cooked agave at the nose with a caramel and cinnamon palate. The Anejo carries a deep amber color as it is aged 18 months for hints of oak, butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla at the nose with a balanced oaky caramel and vanilla palate.
