Louis Vuitton, one of the most respected, and global luxury brands, just announced their next Men’s Collections Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh.
Abloh is the widely respected and creative force behind the luxury streetwear brand Off-White. Abloh began making waves nearly 12 years ago when he started his fashion career at Fendi, alongside Kanye West and several other creative young minds. Since then, he has been the creative director for artists such as Kanye West and Jay Z, and has had collaborations with Nike, Jimmy Choo, Levi’s, among others, as well as a highly anticipated release with Ikea.
In an interview with The New York Times Abloh states “When creativity melds together with global issues, I believe you can bring the world together. Fashion on this level can really open eyes.” Michael Burke, chief executive of Louis Vuitton, praised Abloh’s talent and ability to break barriers beyond fashion.
This is inspiring news, and we, at NOBLEMAN, are excited to see what the future holds for this well-deserved appointment by Louis Vuitton.
