In collaboration with 100 Thieves, Gucci has launched a limited-edition series of backpacks from the Gucci Off the Grid initiative. The collaboration produced only 200 backpacks, an incredibly exclusive numbered collection. These limited edition backpacks are colored a vibrant red in the signature Gucci logo pattern with a black trim. Multiple pockets, silver hardware, and a distinctive black leather circular patch with the 100 Thieves logo adorn the style.
Gaming, lifestyle, and apparel brand, LA-based company 100 Thieves has a mission of sustainability and respect, something that this collaboration represents. The exclusive backpacks are made from recycled and sustainable materials, including ECONYL®, made from carpets, fishing nets, and scrap materials. As well as incorporating sustainable materials, the manufacturing process included the recovering and upcycling of nylon fabric scraps.
The backpacks are available online at Gucci.com and the Gucci Beverly Hills store and will come in packaging made from fully sustainable materials. The collectible packaging, displaying both the Gucci and 100 Thieves logos, will include a box made from received paper and a red pouch crafted from recycled nylon.
Not only are these backpacks incredibly rare – and a truly special piece to add to your collection -, but supporting the Gucci x 100 Thieves collaboration will in turn support the shared mission of the two brands to respect and protect our planet. This collaboration is the first step the brands will take to drive the fashion industry towards a more sustainable future, and it is incredible to be a part of it.
