EuroCollective Redefines Luxury Through Eyewear, Timepieces, & Creative Collaboration

We sat down with Larry Sands and Raj Pranav for an exclusive conversation about their bold vision for luxury design. What they’ve built together is nothing short of extraordinary. Larry, a founding name in luxury eyewear, has long understood that frames are more than tools. They are signals, design declarations anchored to identity. Raj, a consummate watch expert, complements that vision by channeling precision, timing, and horological heritage. Together, they have created a singular boutique where vision and time coexist in perfect dialogue.

Located in Newport Beach’s Lido Marina Village, EuroCollective is a destination where refined eyewear and elevated watchmaking live under one roof. Their move from Fashion Island to this coveted waterfront address, steps from Nobu and Malibu Farm, marks a new chapter for luxury retail in Orange County. The boutique is both striking and intimate, every detail considered. Lighting is calibrated to highlight both frames and dials, and each display invites discovery rather than demand.

Inside, Larry’s mastery of eyewear design meets Raj’s passion for fine timepieces. The optical side of EuroCollective features an in-house lab capable of crafting precision lenses within 24 to 48 hours, exclusively using Zeiss optics. The watch division, Eurowatch, presents a curated selection of coveted Swiss maisons including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Cartier. Each piece is chosen for its story and craftsmanship, not merely for its name.

EuroCollective has quickly become a destination for those who appreciate craftsmanship and culture. Larry and Raj curate the experience with the same precision they bring to their creations, hosting private previews and collaborations that attract collectors, designers, and tastemakers. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, blending the sophistication of a gallery with the warmth of a private club. In this space, eyewear and timepieces reveal more than style. The passion has always been in the stories behind the pieces. Watches are our first language, but over time we realized many of our most meaningful conversations came through art, design, and people’s lives beyond just collecting. The move to Lido felt natural; the community here cherishes craftsmanship, beachside elegance, and understated luxury. 

EuroCollective expands that spirit beyond watches into art, design, and lifestyle partnerships that celebrate creativity and collaboration. The goal has always been to bring together makers, innovators, and tastemakers under one vision: to redefine what luxury can mean in a more personal, connected way.

Looking ahead, what impact do you hope EuroCollective will have, not just on the luxury market but on how creative partnerships are built and sustained?

We want EuroCollective to become a bridge between traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity, between established brands and emerging voices. Our impact won’t just be measured in the pieces we sell but in the relationships we build.

We see a future where luxury isn’t exclusive, it’s inclusive of creativity, where partnerships are built on shared values and storytelling rather than just transactions. EuroCollective aims to inspire collaboration that endures, between brands, artists, and collectors who value integrity, innovation, and purpose.

Is there a particular piece you’ve helped a client acquire that stands out as a favorite or most memorable experience?

There have been many, but one that stands out is helping a longtime client track down a rare Patek Philippe that had personal meaning connected to his father. The moment he put it on, it wasn’t about the value of the watch, it was about continuing a legacy. Those are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. Every acquisition becomes part of someone’s story, and that emotional connection is what defines EuroWatch.

For someone stepping into the shop for the first time, what kind of experience do you want them to have? What should they feel the moment they walk through the door?

From the second you walk through the door, we want you to feel something: warmth, authenticity, and passion. This isn’t a showroom; it’s an experience. The music, the lighting, the hospitality. Everything is curated to make you feel like you’ve stepped into a world where time slows down and every detail matters.
