With the beginning of fall, I always feel an exciting energy in the Big Apple. Just after NYFW ends, a new social season begins, and calendars fill up with cocktail parties, fundraisers, and Broadway openings. People begin to layer up with new sweaters in autumn colors and enjoy the crisp moments before the holidays. It’s the perfect time to pull out the corduroy and put away the linen. With the shift in the weather, my skin gets dry. I make sure to take care of it and drink plenty of water. Plus, I might add an extra visit to my new favorite spa, Dr. Barbara Sturm Clinic, for a refreshing facial. After the facial, I always like a light snack. Having just arrived from London, The Farmacy Kitchen serves 100% plant-based, organically and biodynamically prepared food. It’s the perfect place to gather, catch up, and enjoy a delicious meal. As the days get shorter and the leaves begin to change, I always take a moment to be grateful for the people in my life and the great city I get to call home. Just remind me of this when the first blizzard hits.
