Dolce & Gabbana’s #DGLovesAustralia project is both a noble cause and a message of solidarity and closeness. With the aim of supporting the country, particularly those affected by the recent fires, Dolce & Gabbana has created a one-of-a-kind t-shirt with the colorful, majestic and ancient Waratah flower of Australia. Synonymous with strength, energy and healing, this red flower holds many meanings rich in history and value which makes it the perfect symbol of the exclusive project. The proceeds from the sales will support the Australian organization Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), a not-for-profit organization that harnesses the power of collective investment between government, business and philanthropy to improve the lives of those living in rural, regional and remote Australia. The FRRR has a long history of supporting disaster-affected communities to recover and build their resilience to future disasters, having provided more than $19m to locally-led recovery and preparedness initiatives since 2006.
Available for both men and women in a limited-release quantity of only 1000 pieces, the t-shirt can be purchased worldwide online at world.dolcegabbana.com and in selected Dolce & Gabbana boutiques.
