Created by Christian Louboutin and friends Idris and Sabrina Elba following the 2021 global outcry against social injustices, ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes,’ is an initiative dedicated to creating change and celebrating hope. Collaborating on an incredible capsule collection with 100% of proceeds from sales going towards 5 global grassroots organizations supporting social equality, the first season raised more than € 1 million, an incredible success story. 

To continue their efforts to support diversity, empathy, and change on a larger scale, ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes Season II,’ will support 6 grassroots organizations with 100% of proceeds going towards funding these programs. In the US, the capsule collection will support Art Start, an educational organization dedicated to nurturing historically marginalized youth through the creative process. 

The newest collection will feature the vibrant new print aptly titled ‘Celebration.’ Paying homage to three beautiful flowers connected to the countries of the Elba’s origins, the print features the Desert Rose, Cotton tree, and Protea flower. Two original styles will also be available in the collection, the Maryam sandal dedicated to Sabrina’s mother and the 2002SL sneaker, named after Sierra Leone and the birthday of Idris’s daughter.
