Not far outside of New York City you’ll find Viron Rondo Osteria in Cheshire, Connecticut. The menu is primarily Italian at this locally sourced Mediterranean gem – think salads and antipasto, meat and seafood, carbonara and clam sauces – but the owner’s Greek flair adds a little something special. French designer Martine Longhi conceived and designed the interior and exterior spaces, the latter of which boasts a beautiful outdoor dining garden oasis. Be sure to take note of the striking chandelier hanging in the main room which previously hung in the theater of the New York Film Academy from 1969 to 2017. The restaurant’s world-class cocktail program and extensive wine list are the perfect complements to an already impressive menu. Don’t forget to order the charcuterie board. Trust us on this one.
