Montblanc has expanded their leather goods offerings with a new foray into customizable styling and a reimagined modularity system. The Luxury Maison, known for elevated classics and tried-and-true quality, adds a new dimension to its signature styles with the exceptional Montblanc Sartorial Collection. “While this collection has a timeless and classic quality with modern shapes that can be used every day, there is no reason why the pieces shouldn’t be fun and creative. That’s where the idea for the modular feature came from–a way to express individual style while finding new functionality for each piece. We’ve given personality and life to a more modern all-black bag, so that it can be changed every season or to create a different look,” says Marco Tomasetta, Montblanc’s Artistic Director.
With a design inspiration stemming from the brand’s writing heritage, each new design reflects the beauty and tradition of handwriting. With overlapping construction on the sides of the bags, the leather mimics the opening of an envelope, while the triangular design of the handles is inspired by the recognizable ink bottles from the Maison’s archive. The extensive collection includes a range of document cases, backpacks, open totes, and a bowling bag, all crafted to incorporate small accessories for a new, modular look. While the larger styles are available in Black and Forged Iron, the attachable accessories are offered in bold, contrasting shades to add a touch of style and fun to the classic shapes. Since revolutionizing the culture of writing in 1906, Montblanc has upheld standards of excellence in design and craftsmanship, and this new collection is no exception.
