THE DEBUT OF A NEW CAPSULE COLLECTION IN THE LEAD UP TO RACE DAY IN MIAMI
To kick off the Grand Prix weekend in Miami, NOBLEMAN teamed up with Christian Louboutin to host a cocktail party to celebrate the debut of a new limited-edition men’s sneaker capsule by the beloved designer. Presenting two new special styles, the capsule celebrates the races with its Fun Louis Junior F1, a low-top style, and Fun Lou Spikes F1, a high-top. Both styles feature a chic black and white color palette, nodding to the famous checkered flags with their striped grain trim. Inspired by logos often associated with race cars, each pair spotlights a CL ‘varsity’ logo as well as a ’91’ on the heel, in reference to the year the iconic Maison was founded.
Hosted at the brand’s Miami flagship location in the Design District, the event kicked off with a live DJ, delicious cocktails, and fabulous small bites. Guests including D.J. and designer Brendan Fallis, photographer Jake Rosenberg, Pianist Chloe Flowers & Sira Pevida, joined Nobleman’s Creative Director Doug McLaughlin to celebrate in the intricately appointed two-story space, the spectacular atmosphere bringing inescapable luxury to the evening. With incredible design elements like an entirely bark-covered storefront, a tiered skylight, and the incorporation of gemstones from the designer’s private collection, the boutique was a flawless backdrop for a wonderful night.
Guests had the chance to preview the new releases while enjoying live music, tasty hors d’oeuvres, and lots of laughter. With a range of outstanding beverage options, the spicy margarita crafted with Añejo Cristalino from Tequila Komos was a definite fan favorite – though we have to admit it was hard to beat the Reposado Rosa and Extra Añejo, both served neat. Guests celebrated the start of the weekend in style, indulging in bites of tuna tartare and polenta with truffle while they perused the incredible collection. Joseph Phelps wines were a highlight of the event, with glasses of 2019 Chardonnay from the Pastorale Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast and 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley enjoyed by all.
