This winter season, acclaimed New York City bar Dante is taking over The Snow Lodge at the base of Aspen Mountain. Voted best bar in the world in 2019, Dante is sure to deliver an exceptional experience. Aspen is a tried and true winter destination, and Dante at The Snow Lodge is likely to become a staple this year in your picture-perfect getaway. An outpost of Montauk hot spot The Surf Lodge, Dante at The Snow Lodge will share an atmosphere of youthful fun while also showcasing stylish design and scenic views of the mountain. The restaurant has aesthetic elements of retro-ski style and boasts a large patio, which is sure to become the place to be this winter.
Open seven days a week, Dante promises to deliver the ultimate après-ski experience. Live music, shops, and wellness programming are also on the menu this winter. The restaurant is serving breakfast and lunch, as well as an après-ski cocktail hour. The cocktail menu is unsurprisingly unique and compelling, complete with a range of hot cocktails that are sure to warm you up after a day on the slopes, Chartreuse Hot Chocolate and Hot Smoked Toddy included. The European-inspired lunch menu is expertly crafted, with beautiful appetizers, several flatbread options, and an array of pasta, meats, and fishes. Standouts include a Grain Fed Filet with porcini butter and broccolini and a Roasted Branzino with rosemary potatoes. If you’re looking for a more formal dining experience, Dante is offering two set menu options which include three courses and dessert, as well as additional beverage packages, perfect for a special occasion.
The restaurant’s breakfast menu, aptly titled “Morning Revival,” is a curated assortment of sweet and savory dishes, offering a Harvest Green Bowl (if you’re looking to get a healthy start) as well as House-Made Banana Bread, complete with ricotta and honey. The morning menu also includes “Revival Drinks’, with an assortment of fresh juices as well as a selection of cocktails unique from the lunch offerings. If you don’t have time to stop in for a bite or a sip, Dante’s menu is available for take-out through the Dante app. Accompanying the meal, Dante’s take-out offerings include an impressive assortment of beautifully-packaged bottled cocktails. These take-home cocktails are offered in two options, 8oz (serving two) and 750 ml (serving eight), making Dante take-out a perfect option for a romantic evening or a fun get-together with friends after skiing. Dante classics like the Negroni and Dante Martini are available bottled, as well as winter season specials, including the Toffee Apple Manhattan and Christmas 2020.
