Taking care of your skin is not just for women
As weeks turn into months, and months turn into years it is a great value to hone an interest in skin upkeep. There’s something to be said about a man who goes the extra mile to take care of himself. Cleansing and moisturizing are the essentials, but when it comes to developing a skincare routine designed to avoid unpleasant skin suffering, utilizing a consistent line of products that are light and elementary is key.
In the hopes of coming up with a skincare routine that works, from the beginning to the end of the day, I allowed myself to experiment with a range of skincare products. The outcome is that I can confidently say I have produced a regimen that works, especially for those of us with dry skin.
HERE’S A SEQUENCE OF THE PROCEDURE
1st. Step: Prep with oil-free witch hazel
Witch hazel is an excellent start as it pertains to prepare the skin for hydration. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and is exceptionally cooling. Use for cleansing and cleaning your face before the rest of the routine.
2nd. Step: Prepare for moisturizer with an anti-aging serum
Products: Lab Series, ReVine, Mun Aknari
Think of serums as a light anti-aging treatment that registers into the skin quicker than moisturizers. I like to use right before applying a moisturizer. With serums, pores appear smaller, and moisture levels are increased.
3rd. Step: Moisturize with a lightweight moisturizer
Products: Clinique (Moisture Surge), La Mer, Lab Series (Anti Filter)
I cannot stress the importance of moisturizing enough. After a bath, shave, or exfoliation, it is always principal to get rid of dead skin and repair it. Secure skin hydration with a lightweight, easy-to-apply product.
4th. Step: De-Stress the eyes with an eye cream
Products: Dr. Jart+ (Hydro Soothe Eye Gel)
Avoid puffiness and protect the most delicate part of your skin. Using one finger, lightly dab a small amount of revitalizing eye cream under the eyes. A good eye cream works to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
